Dreaming That You Get Shot: What Does It Mean and How Is It Interpreted?

I have spent two decades interpreting this. The place where you are hit in the dream tells me exactly which area of your life feels under attack.

• In the back: You suspect someone close to you. You sense a betrayal that could come without you seeing it coming.
• In the head: Changes that frighten you. You fear making wrong decisions or that someone you trusted is not who you believed them to be.
• In the chest: This is emotional. Distrust in a partner or someone who wants to get close to you. Wounds from the past.
• In the stomach: Constant stress. You feel something is attacking you from the outside and it fills you with anguish.
• In the legs: You feel blocked. Distrust paralyzes you — you are not moving forward.

How These Dreams End (This Is Important)

The outcome of the dream is just as important as the dream itself. This is where I see whether you are truly in danger or whether it is simply your fears speaking.

• If you die in the dream: Do not be frightened. I see transformation. You are leaving behind who you used to be. You will come out of this stronger.
• If you survive: You are more resilient than you think. You have the capacity to face what comes. You just need to trust yourself more.
• If you are shot multiple times: You are emotionally exhausted. Too much stress, too much pressure.
• If it is a stranger: Fear of the unknown. Of new situations. Of people you do not yet understand.
• If it is someone you know: There is unresolved conflict with that person. You need to talk.

What I Really See When I Interpret This

Years ago I worked with a client who had these dreams every week. It turned out her partner was lying to her about money. The dream predicted nothing. Her intuition already knew.

That is why I tell you: when you have this dream, ask yourself who you truly distrust. Do not look at the future. Look at your present.
